Junior Ballet Development Program

What I was taught,
Change it to "I can do it"

Understand your body and its challenges, think about them, experiment, and make adjustments.

This small-group junior development program helps students internalize the instruction they receive from their teachers and develop the ability to grow towards their goals.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

How to grow
Wear

The goal of this program is not simply to increase the number of lessons.

We help each individual identify their current level and challenges, understand the advice they receive from their teacher, physically practice, observe the changes, and make necessary adjustments. By repeating this cycle, we aim for steady growth.

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT RECORD

Small insights,
To the growth record

I identify my own challenges, and then I build upon the things I've tried and the changes I've made.

WHO IT IS FOR

I want to improve even more.
Take the next step

The target audience is junior students, typically in upper elementary school or middle school, who love ballet and aspire to reach a higher level.

I'm practicing, but I'm not seeing any results.

Sometimes I don't understand what the warning means.

I don't know what kind of practice I really need.

I've received the same warning from my teacher many times.

Even if you understand it, you can't translate it into physical action.

They are aiming for competitions, studying abroad, and a future professional career.

What's important isn't just the current level of completion.
We value the desire to confront one's own challenges, think critically, and grow.

DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Don't leave it at a vague understanding.
To Junior Dancers

With the support of their teacher, students will develop the ability to notice things for themselves, think critically, and make necessary corrections.

1・

Understand why the current approach isn't working.

2・

I need to understand the challenges I need to address right now.

3・

Learn specific approaches

4・

I can feel the changes in my own body.

5・

Develop the habit of repeatedly practicing and refining.

THREE PROGRAM POINTS

Supporting the growth of each individual,
Three specific support mechanisms

01.

Each and every
Current Focus

We will assess the individual's goals and current situation, and then set the most important tasks to address. Instead of trying to fix too many things at once, we will continuously pursue the top priority tasks.

02.

Connecting body understanding with ballet technique

We aim to help you understand not only the form but also the necessary body mechanics for movement, and to apply this to actual ballet. PBT (Physical Body Testing) will also be incorporated as one method for improving performance.

03.

To visually confirm growth.

We create an Individual Development Record (Individual Growth Record) to document goals, challenges, efforts, and changes.

English

Connecting English instruction to action.

The lessons will gradually incorporate English used in ballet instruction. The goal is not to acquire conversational English skills.

In the future, when you participate in workshops, competitions, short-term study abroad programs, or overseas study programs led by teachers from abroad, you will be able to understand the intentions behind instruction in English and apply that understanding to your own actions.

INSTRUCTION

Find the "reason why it can't be done,"
Towards understandable language and methods

I will utilize my experience studying ballet abroad, performing with ballet companies both domestically and internationally, and my knowledge of body awareness as a PBT certified instructor to provide instruction.

We identify the root cause of each individual's difficulties, rephrase it in terms they can understand, and provide support from practice and confirmation to mastery.

About the classroom you belong to

Having a current studio affiliation or the number of lessons you normally take is not a requirement for enrollment. If you wish to attend other studios concurrently, please check the rules of your current studio.

This is not an audition format that solely judges technical skill. We conduct individual interviews and assessments with each candidate to confirm their goals, willingness to participate, current basic and technical level, physical condition, and how well they fit into the class.

The instructor will make a comprehensive decision regarding your eligibility for membership. Depending on the class structure, you may have to wait before joining.

Verification period of one month after joining

The first month is a period for both the participant and the instructor to confirm whether the program content and approach are suitable. If necessary, the participant, parents, and instructor will discuss whether to continue the program.

This program does not guarantee any specific outcome, such as winning competitions, studying abroad, or pursuing a professional career.
